To fulfil this need we have now launched something called The Green Hotels Programme, that allows you to show your customers which hotels are certified as sustainable in the search process.

Already over 15,000 hotel properties are now easily identifiable via a new green filter that includes details of certifications and offer tags.

To certify these properties as sustainable, we’ve partnered with global sustainability certification companies to identify fully certified hotel properties following the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) for hotels.

The criteria are organized around four main themes: effective sustainability planning, maximizing social and economic benefits for the local community, enhancing cultural heritage, and reducing negative impacts on the environment.
