When travellers visit lesser-known or lesser-frequented destinations, this brings in huge revenue and opportunity for growth for the local communities, and working with local tourist boards to promote destinations that would benefit from increased exposure and tourism levels, can help to ensure you’re facilitating travel that benefits the destinations in question, rather than creating strain or negatively impacting the local communities there.
